Final
Conclusions
During this
activity, we were able to recognize and contemplate the importance of
translation in the foreign language learning; as this has remained balanced
over the years, thanks to the great contributions by those authors who have
made a fundamental cooperation in its renewal. Likewise, it should be noted how
the translation has supported and maintained the English teaching-learning
process, starting from an intercultural education, that is, the development of
understanding, tolerance and civic values of other cultural identities; as well
as the potentialization of linguistic skills, the management of an unique
vocabulary and the language command "incidence of individual and social
factors in these processes."
In other words, translations Techniques is a subject that gives a lot of knowledge, that Knowledge is very important for all foreign language teachers. From point of view this subject must be a compulsory course into the studies of English as a foreign language, because all information about translation and interpretation is a subtopic of L2. It remains to say that translation brings us many advantages in our lives. It allows us to solve basic problems. It also allows us to access knowledge and know the contributions of other people who do not share our language. And from the literary point of view, it allows us to know works that otherwise would remain unknown. For this reason it is good that we value the work of the translators.
In conclusion is that translation is important for learning a second language such as English, but we can not do it or apply it without taking into account certain techniques and steps that experts indicate. The translation process involves different elements not only grammatical and linguistic but contextual and cultural at the same time. Also to emphasize that the use of new technological tools have potentiated the levels of translation and have allowed a complete revolution in simultaneous translation. Finally, this academic activity is a motivation to strengthen and develop our translation skills as learners of a second language such as English.
