TASK 2: ESSAY
b) Leonardi (2010), translation enhances critical reading skills, improves grammatical awareness and language proficiency, facilitates vocabulary acquisition, and develops intercultural competence.

To Focus on the Generalities of Translation is to Travel in a Bubble of Capabilities

     Throughout history, translation has played an important role in different contexts (social, cultural, educational, political, among others.) of our contemporary society; its influence in these fields has been marked by the participation of several international authors and analysts, who year after year have been responsible to contemplating studies, contributions and even reforms, achieving a number of advantages that encompass it both in structure and content, and to making this an art in diverse areas, as in the case of teaching and learning the English language.
     Currently, mastering the translation allows to memorize grammatical elements and to potentiate the reading and writing skills, the first contextualizes a systematic approach with respect to reading comprehension; here the person performs a mental schematization procedure, assimilates and accommodates the text in his/her brain, facilitating not only the acquisition of information, but a large amount of vocabulary that ultimately ends up being an indispensable resource, when employing some type of literary translation methodically, this with the purpose to avoid small mistakes, e.g. if in Spanish the phrase is: "Yo tengo 10 años", therefore, in English would be "I have 23 years" when is false; apart from that, if the Anglo-speaker translate in Spanish "I have a red book", he/she say "Yo tengo un rojo libro", is conjugating badly the verb to have; likewise, the articulation between the language and the conceptualization of these aspects is remarkable, bringing and generating with it interlingual and intercultural processes.
     To interpret the way in which the intercultural concept is given in the translation, is to go sporadically into the reading and writing of its function and purpose; so, does interculture as part of the translation system, allow to identify the different stages in order to achieve all the competences at a higher level?; translator who using the intercultural system could make mistakes in that transfer process which would generate, an interference between L1 and L2, for example: when it is want to translate "I like mangoes" to "Yo gusto los mangos"; although there are no precise prescriptions about the structure of written language, the different techniques allow to coding small patterns, regarding the automatic translation to produce sentences effective, cohesive and coherently. Therefore, the intercultural concept becomes dynamic and constantly changing, since the written language is born natural and fluid, in relation to the sociocultural context in which the translation is carried out.
     In conclusion, the field of translation it is a great opportunity to study the relationship between source language and target language, which allows to understand in first instance the structure, morphology, semantic and syntax of a foreign language; in addition, the experiences might be so diverse in a way that these will contribute to improve the sociolinguistic and pragmatic skills. Translator can acquires a lot vocabulary through procedimental and conceptual systems, as well as literacy techniques as basic tools; thus, he / she has the facility to use versatile strategies, where to preserves his / her roots, culture, mother tongue and to reinforces this area at the same time taking the theory into practice.

TASK 5: CONCLUSIONS
     During this activity, we were able to recognize and contemplate the importance of translation in the foreign language learning; as this has remained balanced over the years, thanks to the great contributions by those authors who have made a fundamental cooperation in its renewal. Likewise, it should be noted how the translation has supported and maintained the English teaching-learning process, starting from an intercultural education, that is, the development of understanding, tolerance and civic values of other cultural identities; as well as the potentialization of linguistic skills, the management of an unique vocabulary and the language command "incidence of individual and social factors in these processes."
